Medical-Surgical Nursing II is the second of two (2) courses focusing on the care of culturally diverse clients who are experiencing health deviations related to specific systems.  This course is designed to assist the student develop an understanding of the pathophysiology of selected health deviations and the medical and nursing management useful to assisting the client sustain or regain health.  Emphasis is placed on the correlation of nursing to the care provided to assigned clients. Alterations in the growth and development of children are also addressed in this course.
