This course is designed to give the student understanding of the structure and function of the human body. Course content will include anatomical terminology, cells, and tissues, and the integumentary system, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic/immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Application of physiological principles will serve as a basis in the nursing care of clients. Any student requiring special accommodations is asked to see the instructor.
